Shadrack Maluki, the president of the Kenya Judo Federation (KJF), has been elected as the new president of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K).

Maluki secured 15 votes, defeating his only opponent, former secretary general Francis Mutuku, who garnered 12 votes.

Maluki now replaces Paul Tergat, whose two terms come to an end.

Barnabas Korir, an Executive Member of Athletics Kenya, has been elected as the First Deputy President, serving under newly elected NOC-K President Shadrack Maluki. Korir secured the position with 15 votes, narrowly defeating Anthony Ombok, who garnered 12 votes. Korir, who also holds the role of Youth Director at Athletics Kenya, was a prominent figure in Maluki’s "New Dawn Fresh NOC-K" campaign.

The Second Deputy President position was claimed by another ally of Maluki, Nahashon Randiek, who edged out Kenya Amateur Wrestling Association President Anthony Kariuki with 14 votes.
